Description

Are you looking for a remarkable life adventure in one of the world’s greatest nature hotspots? St Helena is a multi-ethnic, peaceful British Overseas Territory of 4,000 people in the South Atlantic. We are undergoing significant and ongoing political, demographic and financial change.

We seek a new Head of the Public Service to lead our team of c. 900 people in finding creative solutions for the island’s current and future challenges. We have evolved our system of Government, and a new Legislative Council will be elected later this year. We have constructed an airport and a port. There is a lot more to do, and we seek someone who can evolve and innovate to further develop our island community.

If you are a visionary, solutions-focused and resilient C-level leader, able to demonstrate impact and able to deliver both individually and through others, then we want to hear from you. This role will suit someone who enjoys being both strategic and hands-on. It offers a unique opportunity to make a difference in a close-knit community which is ambitious for the future.
